Fa m\u00e9s de 1.000 anys que hi ha una esgl\u00e9sia en aquest indret, com demostren els documents que es conserven dels anys 991 i 999 que hi fan refer\u00e8ncia. Tamb\u00e9 apareix citada en un testament sacramental de l\u2019any 1017, en qu\u00e8 es pot llegir: \u201cL\u2019altar de Santa Eul\u00e0lia verge i m\u00e0rtir que tenia la seva baselica al lloc que en deien Villa Picinna\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2PBQ5T_1BAw\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El temple actual t\u00e9 uns 300 anys d\u2019hist\u00f2ria, ja que l\u2019any 1782 el santuari va ser reedificat, i la fa\u00e7ana va adquirir l\u2019 aspecte neocl\u00e0ssic actual. De l\u2019edifici antic se\u2019n va conservar la capella del Sant\u00edssim i un dels murs exteriors. Posteriorment, tamb\u00e9 es van afegir dues obertures laterals a la que origin\u00e0riament tenia el campanar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019any 1997 l\u2019enfonsament de la coberta de la capella del Sant\u00edssim va permetre estudiar els elements arquitect\u00f2nics de l\u2019antiga construcci\u00f3 prerom\u00e0nica.
