Petites peces protagonitzades per ve\u00efns i ve\u00efnes del districte que ens mostren la diversitat, els car\u00e0cter reivindicatiu, la festa i tants altres aspectes que formen part de la vida social dels barris.<\/p>\n<p>El 1979 un grup de ve\u00efns van decidir convertir uns terrenys situats al carrer d\u00b4Alc\u00fadia, entre els carrers de Dei\u00e0 i Felanitx, en una improvisada pista de petanca. Dos anys m\u00e9s tard aquest grup d\u00b4aficionats van constituir-se com a club. Durant m\u00e9s de tres d\u00e8cades els socis s\u00b4han fet c\u00e0rrec de les instal\u2022lacions: 12 pistes perfectament condicionades i un local social constru\u00eft pels mateixos ve\u00efns.<\/p>\n<p>El Centre Recreatiu Club de Petanca Alc\u00fadia \u00e9s una de les instal\u2022lacions esportives m\u00e9s antigues de la zona i un punt de trobada per a molts ve\u00efns i ve\u00efnes del barri. Els m\u00e9s de 300 integrants d\u2019aquest club juguen en totes les lligues catalanes de petanca, tant en la categoria femenina com en la masculina. L\u2019equip femen\u00ed t\u00e9 cinc nivells i disposa d\u2019equips en la 1a i en la 3a categoria. En l\u2019equip mascul\u00ed hi ha sis nivells.
