El nou casal de barri ser\u00e0 un espai sociocultural que promocionar\u00e0 les iniciatives de les entitats socials, culturals i ve\u00efnals de Torre Bar\u00f3. Les obres per adequar l&#8217;espai s&#8217;iniciaran abans de l&#8217;estiu i duraran uns 10 mesos. El casal de barri se situar\u00e0 a la primera planta d\u2019un edifici situat al n\u00famero 5 de l\u2019avinguda de l\u2019Escolapi C\u00e0ncer. Aquesta \u00e9s una reivindicaci\u00f3 hist\u00f2rica dels ve\u00efns del barri, que no disposen de gaires espais per trobar-se i fer activitats a la zona. L\u2019equipament servir\u00e0, a m\u00e9s, d\u2019element dinamitzador de la pla\u00e7a dels Eucaliptus.<\/p>\n<p>El futur centre estar\u00e0 distribu\u00eft en tres zones que sumaran uns 1.450 metres quadrats en total. Una ser\u00e0 els espais reservats per a l\u2019associaci\u00f3 de ve\u00efns del barri, la de gent gran, un magatzem, una aula de cuina i una sala de reunions i serveis. En una altra zona hi haur\u00e0 l\u2019espai d\u2019acollida i la sala polivalent. Al tercer bloc hi haur\u00e0 les aules taller, serveis i les dues sortides del local. Tamb\u00e9 s\u2019hi far\u00e0 un buc d\u2019assaig.<\/p>\n<p>El casal tindr\u00e0 dues entrades, una a la planta baixa que d\u00f3na al carrer de l\u2019Escolapi C\u00e0ncer, i una altra des de la primera planta, als carrer de Castelldefels. L\u2019edifici que acollir\u00e0 el casal \u00e9s un dels adquirits per l\u2019Ajuntament a l\u2019ag\u00e8ncia immobil\u00e0ria Regesa.
