La majoria s\u00f3n fotografies d\u2019indrets, esdeveniments i ve\u00efns que han recopil\u00b7lat, conservat des de l&#8217;Arxiu Hist\u00f2ric Roquetes-Nou Barris i que han explicat i dif\u00f3s a partir <a href=\"http:\/\/arxiuhistoric.blogspot.com\/\">del seu bloc.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>La fotografia mostra l\u2019activitat\u00a0 a l\u2019interior dels \u201cTalleres Generales de Material y Tracci\u00f3n de la Estaci\u00f3n de San Andr\u00e9s\u201d, m\u00e9s coneguts popularment com els tallers del Nord. Aquests tallers van ser constru\u00efts a la segona d\u00e8cada del segle XIX per donar servei a la l\u00ednia Barcelona-Saragossa, impulsada pels germans Girona, que tenia l\u2019origen a l\u2019Estaci\u00f3 del Nord i que va arribar a la capital de l\u2019Arag\u00f3 el 1861. Es van fer als terrenys de la masia de Can Drag\u00f3, just a tocar de l\u2019actual Meridiana. Precisament per aquest motiu, un cop enderrocats els tallers,\u00a0 els equipaments esportius que s\u2019hi va construir amb l\u2019impuls dels jocs ol\u00edmpics (el llac, el camp de futbol de l\u2019Alzamora, les pistes d\u2019atletisme i el poliesportiu Palestra) es va anomenar parc esportiu Can Drag\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Aquests tallers, juntament amb els de Valladolid foren els m\u00e9s grans d\u2019Espanya a la seva \u00e8poca. Dins les grues-pont eren capaces d\u2019aixecar una locomotora sencera, que pesava entre 3000 i 5000 tones \u2013o les seves parts m\u00e9s pesades, com la caldera- i las m\u00e0quines-eina, amb motors independents.
