Es tracta d\u2019una de les poques zones planes del barri, on hi ha instal\u00b7lada diverses canxes esportives, com pistes de petanca i una de b\u00e0squet. El problema \u00e9s que no a l\u2019estiu no hi ha cap ombra i que la pista de b\u00e0squet no reuneix les mides reglament\u00e0ries. Per aix\u00f2 l\u2019Ajuntament vol construir de nou la pista esportiva alhora que adequa dels seus entorns. El projecte vol cobrir la nova pista esportiva amb una p\u00e8rgola, per fomentar i facilitar l\u2019esport entre els joves. Actualment els equips de b\u00e0squet i futbol sala de Torre Bar\u00f3 han de baixar a jugar els partits al pati de l\u2019Institut Picasso. El cobriment de la pista donar\u00e0 tamb\u00e9 servei al ve\u00efnat durant els actes comunitaris, com ara la festa major de Torre Bar\u00f3, que t\u00e9 en el Campillo de la Virgen un dels escenaris tradicionals. La p\u00e8rgola nova tindr\u00e0 un disseny curi\u00f3s, en forma d\u2019ou, a mig cam\u00ed entre una marquesina i un cobriment.<\/p>\n<p>Una altra de les actuacions respon a les demandes del ve\u00efnat que fa temps que es queixa que els m\u00f2duls situats al costat de les petanques no reuneixen condicions com a vestidors. L\u2019Ajuntament remodelar\u00e0 els m\u00f2duls actuals i, a m\u00e9s, es construir\u00e0 uns vestidors per als jugadors de futbol i b\u00e0squet.<\/p>\n<p>Les obres comen\u00e7aran el primer trimestre de 2019 i est\u00e0 previst que estiguin enllestides en mig any.
