Els treballs tindran una durada llarga, un any i mig, i dotaran el barri d\u2019un nou parc gr\u00e0cies a una transformaci\u00f3 completa de la zona.\u00a0 La pla\u00e7a de S\u00f3ller esdevindr\u00e0 un gran espai verd amb m\u00e9s de cent arbres nous, a m\u00e9s de vegetaci\u00f3 i arbustos nous distribu\u00efts per tot l\u2019\u00e0mbit. Est\u00e0 previst que les obres finalitzin l\u2019agost de 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Amb les obres es millorar\u00e0 tamb\u00e9 l\u2019accessibilitat, amb l\u2019eliminaci\u00f3 dels porxos laterals i la construcci\u00f3 d\u2019una plataforma \u00fanica al carrer de l\u2019Estudiant que connectar\u00e0 la pla\u00e7a amb el passeig de la Ciutat de Mallorca. Tamb\u00e9 s\u2019obriran diversos camins nous que creuaran la pla\u00e7a de costat a costat i la connectaran amb els equipaments de la zona.<\/p>\n<p>La futura pla\u00e7a de S\u00f3ller neix de la proposta guanyadora d\u2019un concurs d\u2019idees i d\u2019un proc\u00e9s participatiu fet amb el ve\u00efnat, entitats i infants de l\u2019Escola Palma de Mallorca. \u00a0El projecte tamb\u00e9 preveu un gran espai d\u2019\u00fas polivalent i de relaci\u00f3 al centre de la pla\u00e7a, alhora que mantindr\u00e0 el llac de just al costat de l\u2019edifici de l\u2019Ateneu la B\u00f2bila. Tamb\u00e9 hi haur\u00e0 diverses zones d\u2019estada amb mobiliari urb\u00e0 nou, algunes d\u2019elles amb \u00e0rees de jocs infantils i aparells de gimn\u00e0stica per a gent gran, una \u00e0rea d\u2019esbarjo per a gossos i un espai de relaci\u00f3 tipus \u00e0gora on s\u2019hi podran organitzar esdeveniments.<\/p>\n<p>Paral\u00b7lelament a les obres de remodelaci\u00f3 de la pla\u00e7a, comen\u00e7aran tamb\u00e9 a finals de mes les obres de la remodelaci\u00f3 de l\u2019equipament que acull l\u2019Ateneu la B\u00f2bila, situat als baixos de la pla\u00e7a.
