El 35% de tots el que hi ha la ciutat embelleixen els carrers de Sant Andreu, on fins i tot un grup de voluntaris espigola les taronges amargues un cop a l&#8217;any per fer-ne melmelada destinada a persones en situaci\u00f3 de vulnerabilitat. Una iniciativa que s&#8217;ha est\u00e8s a altres quatre districtes, entre els quals no figura Nou Barris que, com diem, no t\u00e9 gaires exemplars. Tanmateix, el grupet que en tenim han esdevingut emblem\u00e0tics. Se situen al Pla de la pla\u00e7a de les Madres de Mayo i envolten la pla\u00e7a i \u00a0la font que ret homenatge a les dones, les mares, que van organitzar-se i lluitar pels detinguts desapareguts per la dictadura argentina.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>S\u00f3n tarongers agres, o amargs, provinents del sud-est d&#8217;\u00c0sia. Aquests dies hem pogut veure la seva caracter\u00edstica flor blanca. Tamb\u00e9 el seu aroma, un perfum que impregna l&#8217;ambient. Al mateix temps, els arbres es van omplint de taronges. Aquestes, per\u00f2, no es poden menjar i no seran convertides en melmelada.
