D&#8217;aquesta manera el barri de Canyelles tornar\u00e0 a tenir oferta d&#8217;ensenyament de secund\u00e0ria, gaireb\u00e9 15 anys despr\u00e9s que tanqu\u00e9s l&#8217;Institut Collserola, actualment convertit en la secund\u00e0ria musical i de dansa de l&#8217;Oriol Martorell. Fins ara els alumnes que acabaven prim\u00e0ria havien de marxar a la Guineueta o a les Roquetes. A partir del curs vinent podran quedar-se al seu centre, el Tom\u00e0s Moro. Es dona el cas que a Canyelles tampoc hi ha alternativa de secund\u00e0ria concertada ni privada.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019una l\u00ednia d\u2019infantil i prim\u00e0ria, aquest centre actualment escolaritza 207 alumnes i compta amb un equipament que permet l\u2019ampliaci\u00f3 per creixement del centre. T\u00e9 una superf\u00edcie constru\u00efda de 3.343 m\u00b2 i 2.984,55 m\u00b2 de zones exteriors, amb tres edificis independents i tres accessos, dos patis quadrats, un cobert amb claraboia i l\u2019altre descobert. De cara al curs 2024-2025 s\u2019hi faran les adequacions per a la transformaci\u00f3 ens institut escola.<\/p>\n<p>En total, al curs 2025-2026 hi haur\u00e0 26 instituts escola p\u00fablics a la ciutat, dels quals 9 s\u00f3n a Nou Barris. La xifra puja a 10 si tenim en compte l&#8217;Institut Escola Oriol Martorell, un centre especialitzat art\u00edstic en dansa i m\u00fasica.
